In 2024, I traveled to Ukraine to uncover stories that often go untold. I wanted to hear from the pastors still preaching in war zones, the workers keeping cities running under bombardment, the business owners rebuilding, and the soldiers trying to return to normal life.
What Does Freedom Cost? isn’t about politics or battle footage. It’s about people…ordinary Ukrainians who refuse to give up on freedom, faith, or each other.
When I arrived in Ukraine, I expected to find a country torn apart by war, with citizens barely hangin on. What I found instead were stories of courage, community, and conviction.
People welcomed me into their homes, businesses and churches. They didn’t talk about fear; instead they spoke about purpose. About faith. About how freedom is worth fighting for, even when the world stops watching.
